Moth Migration Project (MMP)
Contribution to the ongoing MMP (Moth Migration Project) initiated by Hilary Lorenz in 2017. Artists all around the world are invited to submit handmade, cutout drawings/prints of moths native to their geographic location. The project has fostered an international "cross-pollination" of ideas and community-building.
I chose to create a linocut of the Giant Leopard Moth, a species with beautifully patterned wings that is native to Michigan.
