Harmony (2026)
Purple Salvia and three female Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, drawn to scale. Harmomy is inspired by my early morning walks in August/September, where I encountered a startling number of female hummingbirds. After some research, I discovered that their male counterparts had already migrated south for the upcoming winter. Although Ruby-throated Hummingbirds are known to be highly territorial and solitary, it was lovely to experience as many as three to four hummingbirds coexisting together at the same potted salvia plant.
Multi-color pochoir and relief print.
Edition of 8.
